The iconic Eames DSW chair is a room296 re-edition of the legendary fiberglass chair that was designed in 1948 by Charles and Ray Eames and first presented at the New York Museum of Modern Art competition ‘Low-Cost Furniture Design’.
The comfortable seat shell was combined with a variety of bases and was the first plastic chair to be mass-produced. However in 1993, the chair was discontinued as fiberglass cannot be recycled, but thanks to advances in technology and materials, the chair is now produced by ROOM296 in robust and recyclable ABS plastic.
A fantastic chair to have in any room, Also available with Steel Legs namely the DSR. The same seat is connected to a leg frame, using shock mounts, resulting in a comfortable seat even over long periods.. Available in red only
